Effective date: October 27, 2026. Last updated: October 27, 2026.
This Privacy Policy ("Policy") describes how Redacted Analytics Inc ("Redacted," "we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, discloses, and otherwise processes personal information. It covers our websites, marketing, sales, events, and free tools. It also covers the accounts that our customers' personnel use to access our Services.
Our websites and marketing are directed to businesses and to professionals acting in their business capacity. If you have difficulty accessing this Policy, contact us at privacy@tryredacted.com and we will provide it in an alternative format.
1. Scope, definitions, and how this Policy fits with our other terms
1.1 What this Policy covers
This Policy applies to personal information we collect through:
- tryredacted.com and any other website, landing page, subdomain, or web property that links to this Policy (together, the "Sites");
- our marketing and sales activities, including email, telephone, text message, postal mail, advertising, social media, webinars, podcasts, events, and online communities;
- our free tools, calculators, scanners, trackers, templates, and gated content (the "Free Tools");
- registration for and use of accounts on our platform by personnel of our customers ("Account Data"), including their use of the Services; and
- any other interaction where this Policy is posted or referenced.
1.2 What this Policy does not cover
This Policy does not apply to Customer Content. Customer Content means the data our customers collect, submit, or process through our Services about their own website visitors, patients, prospects, and users, including any protected health information. Customer Content is governed by the agreements between Redacted and the customer, including our Customer Terms of Service, Data Processing Addendum, and Business Associate Agreement (together, the "Customer Agreements"). Redacted processes Customer Content as permitted by the Customer Agreements. If you are a patient or visitor of one of our customers and have questions about how your information is handled, please contact that customer.
If there is a conflict between this Policy and a Customer Agreement regarding Customer Content, the Customer Agreement controls, in this order of precedence: Business Associate Agreement, Data Processing Addendum, Customer Terms of Service, this Policy.
This Policy also does not cover the practices of third parties that we do not own or control, including the advertising platforms, social networks, and other websites described in Section 11.
1.3 Definitions
- Personal information means information that identifies, relates to, describes, or could reasonably be linked, directly or indirectly, with a particular individual or household. It does not include de-identified or aggregated information. Where a law excludes certain publicly available information from its definition of personal information, that exclusion applies for purposes of that law.
- Affiliates means any entity that controls, is controlled by, or is under common ownership or control with Redacted Analytics Inc, now or in the future. Our Affiliates include Content Distribution (contentdistribution.com), the marketing agency with which we share ownership. Affiliates are separate companies, and a disclosure to an Affiliate is a disclosure to a separate recipient.
- Service Providers means companies that process personal information on our behalf and under our instructions, such as hosting, consent management, customer relationship management, communications, payment processing, transcription, and professional services providers. Where an analytics or other provider uses personal information for its own purposes, it is a third party rather than a Service Provider.
- Advertising Partners means advertising networks, demand-side platforms, social media platforms, search engines, and measurement providers that help us advertise, build and match audiences, and measure results.
- Data Providers means companies that supply, confirm, or enrich business contact and company information, intent signals, and visitor identification, including services that attempt to identify the organization or individual associated with a visit to our Sites.
- Business Partners means companies with which we jointly offer, promote, refer, resell, or integrate products or services, including agencies, consultants, system integrators, resellers, distributors, referral partners, and co-marketing partners.
- Services means the Redacted conversion tracking platform and related products provided under the Customer Agreements.
1.4 Terms of Use
Your use of the Sites is also governed by any Terms of Use we post on the Sites, which may include provisions on dispute resolution, governing law, and limitations of liability, and which incorporate this Policy by reference. This Policy is a notice of our practices.
2. Information we collect
We collect personal information in the four ways described below. The examples are illustrative, not exhaustive.

This includes your interactions with forms and content, which may include information you enter into a form even if you do not submit it.
- Session recordings and heatmaps, which reproduce how you interacted with a page.

- Advertising interaction information, such as the ads you viewed or clicked, on our Sites or on third-party platforms, and the resulting actions on our Sites.
We collect this information using cookies, pixels, tags, web beacons, software development kits, local storage, server-side tagging, session replay and heatmap tools, email and link tracking, call tracking, and similar technologies now known or later developed ("Tracking Technologies"). Section 6 describes Tracking Technologies and your choices.
2.3 Information we obtain from other sources
We may obtain personal information about you from:
- Affiliates, including Content Distribution, which may share subscriber, community, client, and prospect information with us, and with which we may share such information, for the purposes in Section 3.

- Publicly available web pages, including the public pages of websites submitted to our Free Tools or included in our market research.
Where applicable law requires it, before we sell or share personal information that we obtained from another source, we either provide you with notice of this Policy, for example in our first communication with you, or confirm that the source provided the required notice.
2.4 Information we create or infer
We may derive information from the information described above, such as inferences about your role, seniority, company, industry, buying stage, interests in our products, and likelihood to purchase, and we may assign lead scores, segments, and audience memberships. We may combine information from any of the sources in this Section 2.
2.5 Sensitive information
Our Sites and Free Tools are not designed to collect sensitive personal information, such as health or medical information, government identification numbers, precise geolocation, biometric identifiers, or information about racial or ethnic origin, religion, sexual orientation, or citizenship. Please do not submit health information about yourself or anyone else through our forms, chat, or Free Tools. The sensitive personal information we intentionally collect is limited to the login credentials of account holders and the authorizations they grant to connect third-party platforms, which we use to authenticate, secure, and operate accounts and connections, and to information that job applicants choose to provide as described in Section 13. Payment card details are handled by our payment processors.
3. How we use personal information
We use personal information for the following business and commercial purposes:
- Operating the Sites and Free Tools, including delivering pages and content, running scans and other tools, delivering results, remembering preferences, and maintaining the Sites' functionality.
- Responding to you, including answering inquiries, scheduling and conducting demonstrations and walkthroughs, and providing customer support.
- Providing and administering accounts and the Services for our customers, including creating accounts, authenticating users, connecting third-party platforms at the customer's direction, sending service and security notices, billing, providing support, analyzing how accounts use the Services, sending in-product messages and surveys, and informing account holders about features, plans, and related products.
- Marketing and advertising our products and services and those of our Affiliates and Business Partners, including:
- sending marketing communications by email, telephone, text message, postal mail, in-app message, and other channels, and sending gifts, samples, and materials, subject to Section 7;
- personalizing the content, offers, and advertisements you see on our Sites and on third-party platforms;
- interest-based and cross-context behavioral advertising, including retargeting people who have visited our Sites or interacted with our content;
- creating, matching, and expanding advertising audiences, including by sharing hashed or encoded identifiers such as email addresses, phone numbers, and names with Advertising Partners so they can match you to their users, and by asking those partners to find similar or "lookalike" audiences;
- measuring the delivery, reach, and effectiveness of our marketing and advertising, including conversion tracking and attribution through browser-side and server-side methods; and
- running promotions, referral programs, contests, and incentives.
- Sales and business development, including identifying and researching prospective customers and partners, enriching and verifying contact information, scoring and prioritizing leads, routing inquiries, managing relationships, and conducting outreach.
- Analytics and research, including understanding how people find and use our Sites and Services, testing changes, analyzing session recordings and heatmaps, running surveys, and conducting market and industry research. Our research includes studying the use of tracking technologies on healthcare websites, and we may publish findings in aggregated or de-identified form.
- Developing and improving our Sites, Services, tools, and models, including using personal information other than Customer Content to develop, train, test, and improve our products and features and our lead-qualification, response, and content tools, including automated and artificial intelligence tools. This may include the content of chats, calls, and form submissions. Customer Content is used for these purposes only as permitted by the Customer Agreements.
- Automated processing and artificial intelligence, including using automated tools and third-party AI providers to transcribe, summarize, classify, score, route, translate, and respond to communications and inquiries, and to generate content and recommendations.
- Events and communities, including registering you, communicating with you, recording and publishing sessions, and enabling participation.
- Partnerships, including referring you to Business Partners, receiving referrals, co-marketing, and offering integrations.
- Security, fraud prevention, and integrity, including detecting and preventing fraud, abuse, security incidents, and other harmful activity, debugging, and verifying identity.

- Business transactions, including evaluating, negotiating, and completing a merger, acquisition, financing, reorganization, sale of assets, or similar transaction.
- De-identification and aggregation, including creating de-identified or aggregated data that we may use and disclose for any lawful purpose.
- Other purposes that we disclose to you at the time we collect the information or that you consent to.
4. How we disclose personal information
We may disclose personal information to the following categories of recipients:
- Service Providers and contractors that perform services for us. These include website hosting and content management, consent management, customer relationship management and marketing automation, email, text message, and telephony providers, call tracking and recording, scheduling, payment processing, customer support and chat, data verification, artificial intelligence and transcription providers, security and fraud prevention, and professional services such as accounting and legal.
- Advertising Partners, which receive identifiers, usage information, and hashed contact identifiers so we can advertise, build and match audiences, and measure results. Advertising Partners may use this information for their own purposes under their own privacy policies. These disclosures may be considered a "sale" or "sharing" of personal information under some state laws. See Section 5.
- Analytics providers, acting as Service Providers or, where they use information for their own purposes, as third parties.
- Data Providers, which receive identifiers such as IP address and device and cookie identifiers, and contact information, so they can identify, verify, or enrich records, and which may use that information in their own databases and identity graphs under their own privacy policies. These disclosures may be considered a "sale" or "sharing" under some state laws.
- Affiliates, including Content Distribution, for the purposes described in Section 3, including marketing their products and services to you and building audiences. These disclosures may be considered a "sale" or "sharing" under some state laws.
- Business Partners, including agencies, consultants, integrators, resellers, distributors, and referral partners, so that they can contact you about products or services that may interest you, fulfill a referral, or jointly market with us. These disclosures may be considered a "sale" or "sharing" under some state laws. You may opt out as described in Section 5.
- Social media and advertising platforms, when you interact with our pages, content, or advertisements on those platforms, or when we match audiences as described in Section 3.
- Event co-hosts, sponsors, and venues, when you register for or attend an event we host or co-host, which may receive attendee information and recordings and may use them for their own marketing.
- Professional advisors, such as lawyers, accountants, auditors, and insurers.
- Public authorities and other parties for legal reasons, when we believe disclosure is required by law, regulation, legal process, or governmental request. We may also disclose information to enforce our agreements, to protect the rights, property, or safety of Redacted, our customers, or others, or to detect, prevent, or address fraud, security, or technical issues.
- Parties to a business transaction, including prospective or actual acquirers, investors, lenders, and their advisors, in connection with a transaction described in Section 3.
- Other parties with your consent or at your direction, including when you ask us to share information or choose to share it publicly.
- The public, when you post content in a public area of the Sites or our communities, when we publish a testimonial or case study with your permission, and when we publish research or Free Tool findings about websites and organizations, which may include publicly available information about the people associated with them.
We may also disclose de-identified or aggregated information to anyone for any lawful purpose. Where we treat information as de-identified under California law, we take reasonable measures to ensure that it cannot be associated with an individual or household. We publicly commit to maintain and use it only in de-identified form and not to attempt to re-identify it, except to test our de-identification processes. We contractually require recipients to do the same.
5. Advertising, audience matching, and "sale" or "sharing" of personal information
We use Advertising Partners, including search engines, social media platforms, and advertising networks, to show advertisements for our products on their platforms and across the web, to find audiences similar to our customers, and to measure results. To do this, we and they may use Tracking Technologies on our Sites, and we may provide them with hashed or encoded identifiers derived from contact information we hold. We may also disclose contact and usage information to Data Providers, Affiliates, and Business Partners as described in Section 4.
We do not sell personal information for monetary consideration. However, the disclosures described in this Section and in Section 4 to Advertising Partners, Data Providers, Affiliates, and Business Partners may be treated as a "sale" or as "sharing" for cross-context behavioral advertising, or as "targeted advertising," under the laws of California and certain other states.
You may opt out of these disclosures at any time:
- Email privacy@tryredacted.com with "Do Not Sell or Share" in the subject line, or use the Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information link where we display one in the footer of our Sites. A browser-based choice applies to the browser and device you are using and to any profile we associate with it, so please set it on each browser and device you use.
- Enable the Global Privacy Control signal in a browser or extension that supports it. Where applicable law requires it, we treat that signal as a valid request to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information and of targeted advertising. We apply it to the browser or device sending the signal and to any consumer profile we associate with it, and, if you are logged in or otherwise identified to us, to your known information.
- Email privacy@tryredacted.com, including if you want us to stop sharing your contact information with Affiliates, Data Providers, or Business Partners.
We do not knowingly sell or share the personal information of, or engage in targeted advertising to, anyone we know to be under 18 years of age.
6. Cookies and other Tracking Technologies
6.1 What we use and why
We and our Service Providers, Advertising Partners, and Data Providers use Tracking Technologies for the following purposes:
- Strictly necessary: to operate the Sites, maintain sessions, remember your consent choices, and protect security.
- Functional: to remember preferences and settings and to enable embedded features such as video players, scheduling tools, and chat.
- Analytics and performance: to measure traffic, understand how the Sites are used, test changes, and replay sessions.
- Advertising and audience: to show you relevant advertisements on our Sites and elsewhere, limit how often you see an ad, build and match audiences, and measure advertising performance.
- Email and communications: to tell whether messages were delivered, opened, and clicked.
Tracking Technologies may be set by us (first-party) or by our partners (third-party). Some persist for a single session and others for longer periods. Third parties, including Advertising Partners and Data Providers, may use Tracking Technologies on our Sites to collect personal information about your online activities over time and across different websites, apps, and devices, and may combine it with information from other sources.
6.2 Your choices
- Consent banner. We display a consent banner to visitors in California and may display it to visitors in other locations at our discretion. Where the banner is displayed, Tracking Technologies that set advertising or analytics cookies or similar identifiers are activated only after you accept. Before you make a choice, some tags may operate in a limited, cookieless mode that sends basic request information, such as IP address, page address, and browser type, without setting advertising cookies. Visitors in other locations may not see a banner, and Tracking Technologies may be active when they arrive. You can change your choices at any time through the preferences link on the Sites where the banner is displayed, or by emailing privacy@tryredacted.com.
- Browser settings. Most browsers let you block or delete cookies and clear local storage. Blocking some Tracking Technologies may affect how the Sites work.
- Industry opt-outs. You can opt out of interest-based advertising from participating companies through the Digital Advertising Alliance at optout.aboutads.info and the Network Advertising Initiative at optout.networkadvertising.org. Advertising platforms also offer ad settings within your account on their platforms.
- Mobile settings. Your device settings may let you limit ad tracking or reset advertising identifiers.
- Email tracking. You can limit email tracking by disabling the loading of images in your email client.
- Global Privacy Control. See Section 5.
6.3 Do Not Track
Some browsers offer a "Do Not Track" setting. There is no common standard for interpreting it, and we do not respond to Do Not Track signals. We honor Global Privacy Control signals where applicable law requires it, as described in Section 5.
7. Communications, calls, and text messages
- Marketing email. We may send you marketing email about our products, services, content, and events and those of our Affiliates and Business Partners. You can unsubscribe using the link in any marketing email or by contacting us, and we process unsubscribe requests within ten business days. We will continue to send transactional and service messages, such as account notices, receipts, and responses to your requests.
- Telephone. We may call you about our products and services, using the number you provided or that we obtained from the sources in Section 2.3, in accordance with applicable telemarketing laws. Where permitted by law and with any required consent, calls may be placed using automated dialing technology, prerecorded or artificial voice messages, AI-assisted voice agents, or voicemail delivery services. You can ask us not to call you by telling the caller or by contacting us. We maintain an internal do-not-call list.
- Call monitoring and recording. Calls with us may be monitored, recorded, and transcribed for quality, training, record-keeping, and analysis, including by automated tools. Where applicable law requires it, we will notify you and obtain your consent at the start of the call.
- Text messages. We send marketing text messages only to people who have agreed to receive them at the point where we collected their mobile number. Consent is not a condition of purchase. Message frequency varies and message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to any message to opt out and HELP for help.
- Postal mail and gifts. We may send you postal mail, gifts, samples, and materials about our products and services. Contact us to opt out.
- In-app and chat. If you use chat on our Sites or in the Services, including chat assisted by artificial intelligence, your messages are recorded and may be reviewed by our team and processed by our Service Providers.
8. Your privacy rights and choices
Depending on where you live, you may have some or all of the following rights regarding your personal information, subject to exceptions under applicable law:
- to confirm whether we process your personal information and to access it, including in a portable format;
- to correct inaccurate personal information;
- to delete personal information;
- to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information, targeted advertising, and certain profiling;
- to limit the use of sensitive personal information, where applicable law provides that right and it applies to our practices;
- to withdraw consent where processing is based on consent, without affecting processing that occurred before withdrawal;
- to appeal a decision we make about your request; and
- to not be discriminated against for exercising your rights.
How to exercise your rights. Email privacy@tryredacted.com. Account holders may also update certain information in account settings. To opt out of sale, sharing, or targeted advertising, use the methods described in Section 5, including Global Privacy Control.
Verification. We will take reasonable steps to verify your identity before responding, which may include matching information you provide with information we hold or asking account holders to log in. We use information provided in a request only to verify and respond to it.
Authorized agents. Where permitted by law, you may designate an authorized agent to make a request on your behalf. We may require the agent to provide proof of your written authorization and may require you to verify your identity directly with us.
Timing and appeals. We will respond within the time required by applicable law. If we decline your request in whole or in part, we will explain why. Where applicable law provides a right of appeal, you may appeal by replying to our response or emailing privacy@tryredacted.com with "Appeal" in the subject line. If we deny your appeal, we will tell you how to contact the Attorney General in your state, including through the consumer complaint form on their website.
Requests about Customer Content. If your request concerns information that one of our customers processes through our Services, we will refer the request to that customer, which is responsible for responding, and we will assist the customer as required by our agreement with it.
