On oursprivacy.com(opens in a new tab), Ours Privacy sells a customer data platform to healthcare marketers, and in August 2026 it raised a $15 million Series A(opens in a new tab). Its software takes a healthcare website's tracking events and strips or obscures sensitive data before they reach Google, Meta and other ad and analytics tools (about(opens in a new tab)). This page comes from Redacted, which sells a product that competes with Ours Privacy (how we checked).
Prepared by Redacted, which makes an alternative to Freshpaint and Ours Privacy priced for early-stage founders and healthcare practices.
Fact-checked October 2026.
On October 29, 2026, Ours Privacy(opens in a new tab) had 2 rated reviews across the software review sites we checked, and both are on G2(opens in a new tab). Each gives it 5 out of 5. They were posted on September 7 and October 20, 2026, and G2 marks both "Source: Organic", with no incentivized label. G2's own page says "There are not enough reviews of Ours Privacy Platform for G2 to provide buying insight."(opens in a new tab) Four other sites list Ours Privacy with zero reviews, and we found no listing for it on Capterra(opens in a new tab) or TrustRadius(opens in a new tab) (every site).
Both reviewers say it is easy to work with. Asked what they dislike, each names cost: one for a small single-location practice with a modest budget, the other for a buyer just getting started without much volume, though that reviewer adds that it can pay for itself at scale (what reviewers say about price). Outside the review sites, the one long-form review we found is by Growdent(opens in a new tab), a dental marketing agency, and its author appears to have written one of the two G2 reviews.
On Reddit(opens in a new tab) we found at least 11 posts and comments referring to Ours Privacy by 10 accounts outside the company, from January 2025 to October 2026, and 8 more from two accounts that appear to belong to Ours Privacy. One of the 11 is from someone who says they use it.
If you market a multi-location group, a health system or a national digital health brand, the reports closest to your situation are Growdent's account of running it for a large dental group and the customer stories Ours Privacy publishes. If you run one practice, start with price.
If you pay for Ours Privacy now, start from your signed agreement; no review or Reddit post we found describes leaving it (what to check first).
G2 shows the listing as claimed by Ours Privacy, with its overview written by Ours Privacy's co-founder Adam Putterman (G2(opens in a new tab)).
The earlier review, from September 7, 2026, is by someone G2 lists as "Marketing Strategist, Founder" in the marketing and advertising industry, at a company of 51 to 1,000 employees, with the badges "Validated Reviewer" and "Source: Organic". Growdent's founder, whose long-form review is below, appears to have written it.
The September 2026 review opens "Setup was seamless."(opens in a new tab) and goes on: "If you've used Google Tag Manager, it works the same way, so there was almost no learning curve."(opens in a new tab) It credits Ours Privacy's custom tracking domain with better attribution, and adds, in the same September 2026 review, "Support has been quick and useful throughout, and they've billed exactly what they quoted."(opens in a new tab) Its whole September 2026 answer on what it dislikes: "Cost is the main consideration. For a small single-location practice/clinic with a modest budget, it can be harder to justify."(opens in a new tab)
The later review, from October 20, 2026, is by someone G2 lists as an "Intermittent Lecturer" at a company of 50 or fewer employees, with the badges "Current User", "Validated Reviewer" and "Source: Organic".
The October 2026 reviewer wrote that "Ours Privacy makes it so easy to stay compliant with how we track site visitors"(opens in a new tab) and that "Their UI allows us to turn on various channels with the click of a button."(opens in a new tab) The same October 2026 review adds "They also save us so much dev time and reduce complexity in cross-platform analytics."(opens in a new tab) Its whole October 2026 answer on what it dislikes: "The price can be high if just getting started without a ton of volume, but they can start to pay for themselves as you scale."(opens in a new tab)

Growdent has run Ours Privacy for a large, multi-location dental group since March 2025, and its founder, Art Zabalov, published a long-form review of it in August 2026 (review(opens in a new tab)). The August 2026 review states that "Growdent has no commercial relationship with Ours Privacy"(opens in a new tab) and that "There is no referral agreement or affiliate revenue involved in this review."(opens in a new tab) Ours Privacy's media page(opens in a new tab) links to it as "an independent review"(opens in a new tab).
Its summary, from August 2026: "Setup was straightforward, the platform takes very little time to maintain, support has consistently been excellent, and we saw better conversion attribution after implementing it."(opens in a new tab) On support, the August 2026 review says "When we first implemented Ours, we had a dedicated contact and a shared Slack channel"(opens in a new tab) and "They later moved support to a general email address"(opens in a new tab), and of the change, "In this case, basically nothing changed."(opens in a new tab)
Growdent wrote in August 2026 that when it moved the dental group onto Ours Privacy from its earlier setup, "we also had to recreate campaigns across some of the channels, because the new optimization goal could not just be swapped into the existing setup"(opens in a new tab), and it saw "a few days of uneven performance"(opens in a new tab) before the campaigns generally recovered "in less than a week"(opens in a new tab). The same August 2026 review warns that volume changes the picture: "A campaign getting ten conversions a month is going to relearn differently from one getting hundreds."(opens in a new tab) The same August 2026 review adds that its author wouldn't assume a move to a new tracking setup means "sacrificing months of campaign performance"(opens in a new tab).
The August 2026 review gives Ours Privacy's best fit as "Groups, DSOs and practices with meaningful paid media spend"(opens in a new tab). Growdent writes that it hasn't yet used Ours Privacy's newer features, such as A/B testing and its consent manager, in live work, so the review speaks to conversion tracking.
Social Catnip(opens in a new tab), an agency that installs Ours Privacy, published a guide in October 2026 to how it sets the tool up. Social Catnip's site says it is "Led by Sean Gowing"(opens in a new tab), and the same name is in the team list on Ours Privacy's about page(opens in a new tab), under the line that Ours Privacy is "built and advised by experts in healthcare, martech, and security"(opens in a new tab). We don't count the guide as an independent source.
In May 2025, Ours Privacy's co-founders Adam Putterman and Tyler Zey were guests on a podcast from Hedy & Hopp(opens in a new tab), which describes itself as "a full service marketing agency that specializes in healthcare"(opens in a new tab). The co-founders speak for the company, so the episode gives Ours Privacy's own view.
Pilot Digital(opens in a new tab), an agency that sells its own tracking setup, wrote in a post last updated in January 2026: "Ours Privacy is made for mid- to large-size organizations (with mid- to large-sized budgets) that are looking for a platform that they can manage."(opens in a new tab)
We found at least 11 Reddit posts and comments that refer to Ours Privacy, by 10 accounts outside the company, from January 2025 to October 2026. Another 8 come from two accounts that appear to belong to Ours Privacy; they are listed on their own and never counted as reviews. These counts are as of October 29, 2026.
One of the 11 is from a user. In January 2025 an advertiser wrote, "We started using OursPrivacy as a CDP to mask our pixel events."(opens in a new tab) The same January 2025 comment goes on, "Had 0 warnings and have full control over what data is being captured and sent to Meta"(opens in a new tab), and "So far so good!"(opens in a new tab) In December 2024 the same author had written of their company, "we're in the clinical research space, 100+ ad accounts"(opens in a new tab). The January 2025 comment also offers the reader an introduction to someone at Ours Privacy: "I can make an intro to Adam at OP if desired"(opens in a new tab).
Three come from two buyers weighing Ours Privacy against Freshpaint(opens in a new tab), and we found no answer to their questions from a user (questions no user answered). One is from a consultant who wrote in July 2026, "I primarily advertise for healthcare clients"(opens in a new tab), and in the same July 2026 comment linked to Ours Privacy as an example of a third-party tool that hashes patient data before it goes to Google or Meta. The comment doesn't say they use it.
The other six name Ours Privacy without the writer saying they use it. An agency owner wrote in July 2026, "Depending on the size and complexity of your healthcare organization that may require a CDP like Freshpaint or Ours Privacy"(opens in a new tab), and offered "something lighter"(opens in a new tab) as the other choice in that July 2026 comment. An in-house healthcare marketer noted in July 2025 that "Ours Privacy and Freshpaint have their own tag management systems (which can also work through GTM if you want)"(opens in a new tab). The rest are a March 2025 reply that names it beside Freshpaint, an agency's February 2026 post citing an Ours Privacy blog post, a June 2026 reply to a therapist that gives it as an example, and an October 2026 comment that passes on what others have said about it.
| Who wrote it | Items (accounts) | Each one, by date (UTC) |
|---|---|---|
| Says they use Ours Privacy | 1 (1) | |
| A buyer weighing it | 3 (2) | |
| An agency or consultant pointing to it | 1 (1) | |
| Names it without saying they use it | 6 (6) | |
| Outside the company, in all | 11 (10) |
These 8 items appear to be Ours Privacy's own voice, so they sit outside the review count.
Five are from an account whose holder wrote in August 2022 that they were "one of the founders of OURS"(opens in a new tab), the couples-counseling service from which, as AdExchanger(opens in a new tab) reported in September 2025, Ours Privacy emerged as a separate company. In a March 2025 comment the account describes "a major use case for our CDP"(opens in a new tab) and names that CDP as Ours Privacy. In March 2025 a buyer weighing Freshpaint asked "What else is there?"(opens in a new tab), and the account replied in March 2025, "I would recommend oursprivacy.com but I'm obviously biased."(opens in a new tab) It also invited a Freshpaint user to consider Ours Privacy as an alternative (March 2025(opens in a new tab)). In August 2026 it told an advertiser whose Meta events were failing, "Ours Privacy (oursprivacy.com) has helped ~200 clients with exactly this"(opens in a new tab).
The other three are posts on Ours Privacy's company profile from September and October 2025, each a link to oursprivacy.com that carries a "paid_social" campaign tag.

Hacker News(opens in a new tab) has one item naming Ours Privacy, an October 2025 hiring post by a co-founder (post(opens in a new tab)). None of the posts in healthcare-marketing Facebook(opens in a new tab) groups that we found through October 16, 2026 named it; the three Facebook posts that did were on Pages, two of them Ours Privacy's own. On LinkedIn(opens in a new tab) and YouTube(opens in a new tab), the posts and videos we found come from or feature Ours Privacy, its staff, investors and partners, plus a post(opens in a new tab) by Growdent's founder about the review.
On October 6, 2026, a buyer started a Reddit thread comparing Freshpaint and Ours Privacy and asked, "Has anyone worked with either and can give feedback?"(opens in a new tab) On October 7, 2026, the same poster added that they had "spoken with both already"(opens in a new tab) and wanted to know "which one users favored and why"(opens in a new tab) before deciding. The thread's other replies are an automated moderator note, a general comment about audience features, one removed comment whose text is gone, and an October 6, 2026 comment that opens "Haven’t used either platform myself"(opens in a new tab) and passes on that people in programmatic advertising say Ours Privacy "handles audience suppression pretty cleanly"(opens in a new tab). Three weeks later, on October 29, 2026, the thread still had no answer from anyone who said they use either product.
In May 2026, in a Reddit thread on Google Ads conversion tracking, a reader asked a Freshpaint customer why they had chosen Freshpaint over Ours Privacy and other tools (comment(opens in a new tab)). As of October 29, 2026, the thread held no answer; one reply to the customer's comment was removed, and its text is gone.
One question did reach a user. In March 2025 the owner of a new supplement brand asked the January 2025 user whether a CDP still sends conversion data to Meta, and the user replied in March 2025, "Using the CDP we could ensure ONLY the data we needed to accurately map conversions was being sent."(opens in a new tab) That reply doesn't name Ours Privacy.
Freshpaint's side of the same questions is on Freshpaint reviews, and the two products are compared on Ours Privacy vs Freshpaint.
What follows is Ours Privacy's marketing, taken from its own website. Ours Privacy picked these customers and quotes, and the results are its own figures, so weigh them apart from the reviews above. Its about page(opens in a new tab) says Ours Privacy is "trusted by many of the nation’s largest health systems, top digital health companies, and leading medical brands"(opens in a new tab), and its homepage(opens in a new tab) says it is "Serving over 200 healthcare organizations"(opens in a new tab).
Ours Privacy's Freshpaint comparison page(opens in a new tab) adds two testimonials without names, credited to a "Leading weight loss platform"(opens in a new tab) and a "Leading pediatric healthcare platform"(opens in a new tab).
Ours Privacy publishes no prices. Every plan on its pricing page(opens in a new tab) leads to "Book Demo"(opens in a new tab), and its G2 listing reads "Pricing details for this product isn't currently available."(opens in a new tab) We found no public purchase data for Ours Privacy.
Growdent, an agency that uses it, estimates "low to mid four figures per month"(opens in a new tab) for a small-to-medium implementation, in an August 2026 review that names no tier or traffic level. The same August 2026 review says, "Our main reservation is cost for smaller practices."(opens in a new tab) It adds, in August 2026, "For a tiny practice with low traffic and a very small ad budget, I would look carefully at the economics"(opens in a new tab) and "For a larger practice or dental group spending seriously on paid acquisition, the calculation is very different."(opens in a new tab)
Both G2 reviewers name cost as their one dislike, as quoted above. The Reddit buyer weighing both vendors in October 2026 put it briefly: "neither contract is cheap"(opens in a new tab).
On the May 2025 Hedy & Hopp podcast, co-founder Adam Putterman said that a team on a healthcare customer data platform such as Ours Privacy gets "the peace of mind of this is all that we do"(opens in a new tab) and starts to have "some negatives potentially around cost and then learning the tool."(opens in a new tab)
For $99, $199 or $299 a month, Redacted's three plans cover up to 1,000, 2,000 or 10,000 monthly tracked users, month to month, with the BAA in every plan, setup done with you and no setup fee (pricing(opens in a new tab)). It connects fewer tools than Ours Privacy and has no SOC 2 report. Growdent names no tier or traffic level, so its estimate can't be set beside those plans like for like.
It can be done, if you have a developer with time to run and maintain a server. The usual build runs server-side Google Tag Manager on hosting you control and filters each event there, so names, contact details, IP addresses and health information never travel on to Google or Meta. The host has to sign a BAA, and Google's covers the Google Cloud products it lists(opens in a new tab), which don't include Tag Manager. Ours Privacy's own co-founder, Adam Putterman, told a May 2025 Hedy & Hopp podcast that "sGTM is a great solution"(opens in a new tab) and that the hard part is "what happens as you scale. How do you maintain it?"(opens in a new tab) A freelancer wrote on Reddit in February 2026 that even with a hosted server-side setup that works, you're "still building custom GTM tags and managing servers"(opens in a new tab). Buying it as a service moves the server work and the BAA to the vendor, which is how Ours Privacy sells it.
G2 marks both reviewers "Validated Reviewer" and both reviews "Source: Organic", with no incentivized label, and marks the October 2026 reviewer a "Current User". One of the two appears to be by Growdent's founder, whose agency runs Ours Privacy for a dental group and whose own long review says Growdent has no commercial relationship with Ours Privacy. On Reddit, the 8 items from accounts that appear to belong to Ours Privacy are listed apart and aren't counted as reviews (who wrote what).
We found no source that says why. Both G2 reviews date from September and October 2026, and Growdent's from August 2026. With two reviews to go on, a reference call with a customer whose size and stack match yours, which you can ask for on the demo, will tell you more than the ratings.
Both G2 reviewers name cost as their one dislike, for a small practice or a buyer without much volume, and the October 2026 reviewer adds that it can pay for itself at scale (their words). Growdent, an agency that uses it, estimates "low to mid four figures per month"(opens in a new tab) for a small-to-medium implementation, in an August 2026 review that names no tier or traffic level. Ours Privacy publishes no prices, and we found no public purchase data.
The September 2026 G2 reviewer, who appears to be Growdent's founder, wrote that for a small single-location practice with a modest budget it "can be harder to justify"(opens in a new tab). Growdent's August 2026 review names "Cost for very small practices"(opens in a new tab) as its main consideration, and its answer to whether Ours Privacy is worth it for a single dental practice begins "It depends mostly on scale."(opens in a new tab) Ours Privacy's entry tier is Essential: up to 50,000 monthly tracked users, with Google Ads, Meta, GA4 and one more destination; the call tracking, scheduling, form and CRM integrations come with Core, the next tier up (pricing(opens in a new tab)). At Redacted, a practice with up to 1,000 monthly tracked users pays $99 a month, month to month, with the BAA included. It connects fewer tools than Ours Privacy and has no SOC 2 report.
Growdent, which runs it for a large, multi-location dental group, recommends it in its August 2026 review and rates its support "5/5 from us"(opens in a new tab), with cost for smaller practices as its main reservation. Pilot Digital, an agency that sells its own tracking setup, describes it as made for mid- to large-size organizations (post(opens in a new tab)). Social Catnip publishes a guide to installing it, and the name of the person who leads Social Catnip also appears in Ours Privacy's team list (details). For an agency running several clients, Ours Privacy's docs show a user switching between the organizations they belong to without signing out (docs(opens in a new tab)).
Ours Privacy bases its price on monthly tracked users, the integrations you need and customer support, and publishes no amounts (pricing(opens in a new tab)). Its Essential tier goes up to 50,000 monthly tracked users. Redacted's plans step from 1,000 to 2,000 to 10,000 monthly tracked users at $99, $199 and $299.
Neither G2 review nor Growdent's names a booking tool. Ours Privacy connects Cal.com and Calendly from its Core tier, and its docs show how to count bookings from Acuity, SimplePractice, Jane App, IntakeQ and Vagaro on your own page (docs(opens in a new tab)). Redacted sends booking-form conversions to Google Ads, Meta and GA4.
Through a call-tracking tool. Ours Privacy connects CallRail, CallTrackingMetrics and Invoca from its Core tier (pricing(opens in a new tab)). After moving the dental group onto it, Growdent wrote in August 2026: "Call tracking attribution still works."(opens in a new tab)
Yes. GA4 is among the destinations on Ours Privacy's Essential tier (pricing(opens in a new tab)), and Growdent wrote in August 2026 that it has used Ours Privacy "to route conversion events to Google Ads, Meta, TikTok, Microsoft Ads and GA4"(opens in a new tab). Redacted sends conversions to GA4 too.
Compliance turns on how your own tracking is set up, so put that question to your counsel. On its security page, Ours Privacy says every client gets a signed BAA "as part of onboarding"(opens in a new tab) and reports a SOC 2 Type II audit across all five trust criteria (security(opens in a new tab)). Both G2 reviewers list compliance among what it does for them.
The reviews give no reason to: none of the reviews or posts we found describes a customer leaving it. If cost is the reason, start with your signed agreement. Ours Privacy's contract terms aren't public: each customer signs a Master Services Agreement and a BAA (docs(opens in a new tab)), so the term and any notice period are in your copy. Ours Privacy keeps event data "without a predefined limit"(opens in a new tab) by default, and its docs show how to export loaded events as CSV or JSON (docs(opens in a new tab)), so plan the export before you give notice. Ours Privacy alternatives sets out the other options with their price evidence.
No. Freshpaint and Ours Privacy are trademarks of their owners. Redacted is not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by either. This page summarizes public reviews for general information and is not legal advice.
We read Ours Privacy's G2 page on October 29, 2026, logged out, in a browser, and took the review count, dates, reviewer details, badges and quotes from that read. We link the September 2026 G2 review to Growdent's founder by the name and role G2 shows and by the points it shares with Growdent's review; that is an inference, which is why we write "appears". In the same browser we searched Capterra and TrustRadius for Ours Privacy. We read Product Hunt, Trustpilot, SourceForge, Slashdot, Elion and PeerSpot directly the same day. GetApp, Software Advice, Gartner Peer Insights, Seedtable, Crozdesk and SaaSworthy blocked our reader, so for those we relied on Google's US results; Seedtable's entry comes from its Google listing of October 27. GetApp and Software Advice share Capterra's catalog, which we searched; Gartner Peer Insights, Crozdesk and SaaSworthy show no Ours Privacy listing in Google, and a site we couldn't read counts as unknown. For AWS Marketplace, whose search page doesn't load results for our reader, we relied on a web search on October 27.
Reddit items come from two public archives. PullPush(opens in a new tab) covers all of Reddit to about October 10, 2026 for comments and October 13 for posts. In Arctic Shift(opens in a new tab) we read the full comment tree of every thread that holds a counted item, and listed every comment and post since early October in 28 marketing, advertising and healthcare subreddits, to October 29 (one of them to October 14). We also checked Google's results and Reddit's own search. We searched for Ours Privacy, OursPrivacy, oursprivacy.com and ours-privacy, also counted a reply that refers to it in a thread titled with its name, and sorted each item ourselves by its writer: someone who says they use it, a buyer, an agency, or a writer who only names it. An account counts as Ours Privacy's when it calls Ours Privacy its own, writes about it as "we", or is the company's account. Removed comments whose text is gone aren't counted, forum dates are UTC, and a post the archives missed is missing here too.
We searched all of Hacker News's history through its public search. The Facebook finding comes from the 1,615 Facebook links our Google searches of healthcare-marketing groups found through October 16, 2026, most of them group posts. We saw LinkedIn and X(opens in a new tab) only through Google's results, since their search needs a login, and YouTube through Google's results as well. On October 29 we read Ours Privacy's homepage, about, media, pricing, Freshpaint comparison and case-study pages, its documentation, security page and buyer's guide, Growdent's review, Social Catnip's guide and homepage, the Hedy & Hopp transcript, AdExchanger's article and Google Cloud's HIPAA page; we read Pilot Digital's post and Ours Privacy's Series A announcement on October 27. Each fact links to its source.
